How is Neomycin Polymyxin B and Bacitracin Ophthalmic Route administered?

To administer this medication, follow these steps: 1. Wash your hands. 2. Tilt your head back and gently pull the lower eyelid away from the eye. 3. Squeeze a thin strip of ointment into the space created. Use the amount prescribed by your doctor. 4. Close your eyes and keep them closed for 1-2 minutes to allow the medicine to come into contact with the infection. After use, wipe the tip of the ointment tube and keep it tightly closed.
