The recommended dose for patients 1 month of age and older is 2 mg/kg, rounding to the nearest 5 mg increment. For example, a patient who weighs 25 kg would receive 125 mg of risdiplam per day.

How is Risdiplam administered?

Risdiplam is administered orally by mixing the powder with a liquid (such as water or juice) to create a solution. Take the medicine after a meal at about the same time each day, and drink a glass of water after taking the liquid to ensure complete swallowing. It can also be given through a nasogastric or gastrotomy tube.
